Disclosure Day is a science fiction thriller film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. It does not present aliens as fiction, but as government-certified fact. I saw the movie so you don’t have to. It was painfully boring, and it stands out as one of the most demonic, anti-Christian films I have ever seen. I watched it for one reason only – so I can warn others about it.
The Good Guys
The Protagonist is Margaret Fairchild, played by Emily Blunt. She leads a group of people who believe in the presence of benevolent aliens on Earth. Their mission is to disclose to the world the truth of alien presence, and to understand that they are here to help us evolve, which requires that we listen to them.
The Bad Guys
The antagonist is Noah Scanlon, played by Colin Firth. He is the leader of a group of deep state agents whose mission it is to keep the presence of aliens on Earth a secret. Their efforts are to silence the good guys by killing them. And even though the aliens are superior in every way, the bad guys manage to capture some and torture them, the cinematic purpose of the story being to evoke compassion for the innocent aliens.
The lead bad guy is named Noah—no surprise there, since calling good evil and evil good is the name of the game in this movie. Noah’s determination to eliminate everyone seeking to disclose the “truth” about extraterrestrials leads to a series of wild car chases and endless gunfire. Fortunately for the good guys, the bad guys apparently cannot hit the broadside of a barn. Despite countless rounds being fired, no one ever gets hit, so realism is hardly the show’s strong suit. There are plenty of spectacular car crashes, though—especially the one involving a train.
The Aliens
The aliens are the typical emaciated, bug-eyed, naked humanoids so often seen in science fiction. However, so as not to frighten the earthlings, being shapeshifters, they often appear in the form of cute animals such as birds, raccoons, foxes, or sometimes as a large but serene elk.
The Plot
The plot develops slowly. It first checks the modern boxes: a couple of F-bombs and the assumption that casual sex between boyfriend and girlfriend is normal. Once that Hollywood prerequisite is fulfilled, the story proceeds. Margaret worries that if knowledge of the aliens becomes widespread, it will most certainly disprove the existence of God and the veracity of the Bible. Although she believes God is merely a myth, she sees Christianity as a useful fiction that holds society together and keeps chaos at bay.
For that reason, she sees disclosure of the aliens’ existence as dangerous. While she struggles with this, an elderly nun tells Margaret that the Bible does not say that man is the ultimate lifeform, but only the ultimate lifeform upon Earth. In other words, the aliens stand above man as ascended masters, possessing superior spirituality, intelligence, and technology.
While Margaret is pondering the fiction of God and the truth of extra-terrestrials, an alien in the form of a little red bird – a cardinal – appears to Margaret. The bird endows Margaret with insight into the benevolence of the aliens and bequeaths upon her occultic powers. Margaret’s alien-given power is an amplified empathic ability that lets her “listen” to others’ minds, speak multiple languages fluently, shapeshift so as to appear as people from others’ lives, create lifelike illusions, manipulate power sources and control people’s decisions.
Of course, no anti-Christian movie would be complete without reinforcing Satan’s favorite lie – evolution. In that respect this movie does not disappoint the atheist – the plot assumes evolution is a scientific fact. Which brings us to why the aliens have come. They have travelled lightyears in order to help us evolve to a higher plane, a necessary progression in order to prevent human extinction. They help Margaret understand that the aliens know the secret of getting the human race to the next level of evolution. The secret is empathy, though in this case empathy means awakening occultic powers, chiefly mindreading. The aliens intend to teach humans this form of empathic mindreading so they may continue their evolutionary ascent.
There is something for every cult in this flick. New Agers will be happy to see that crystals are used by both sides to enable superhuman abilities. The bad guy uses a crystal to invade and overpower Margaret’s mind. She fights back with a crucifix necklace which she grips tightly. A close-up shows the crucifix with Jesus on the cross being crushed into her hand until she bleeds profusely and finally can hold it no longer. The crucifix falls to the floor in a puddle of blood as Margaret succumbs to the power of the crystal. In the future she uses only crystals to fight back. The subliminal message is crystal clear (no pun intended) – occultic/alien crystal power is stronger than Jesus.
As the plot thickens, the message of the aliens becomes ever clearer. One message from them is: “Don’t be afraid of what you don’t know.” The subliminal message is that people should abandon discernment. Toward the end it is revealed that the key to Margaret reaching alien-induced cosmic consciousness is to remember and re-experience the alien abduction she underwent as a youth. One of the enlightened alien-specialist scientists, wanting to help Margaret achieve the supernatural experience, urges her, “Give yourself over to it.” This she does, and then receives enhanced understanding, just as Eve hoped to gain by eating the forbidden fruit.
The grand climax occurs when Margaret and her cohorts use their mind-control powers to take over a television news station, compelling everyone inside to willingly do their bidding. After establishing links to all televised news outlets in the world, they broadcast video of aliens and their craft, proving to the world that aliens exist.
The triumphant finale occurs when it shows a larger, older, and wiser naked alien stand up and communicate to Margaret by emitting from its tiny mouth a series of insect-like clicks. Margaret, who has the power of understanding any language, looks into the camera to translate the alien message to the world. She says one word: LISTEN. The movie ends there and the credits roll.
That final message is the culmination of all the points made in the movie. Listen to the aliens. Listen to the doctrine they teach. Drop your guard. Surrender and give yourself over to them. Embrace the crystalline power and achieve cultic abilities; evolve to the next level – all while enjoying casual sex.
Running through comments and reviews of the movie online, I see that it has accomplished its objective. New Agers, atheists, cultists, and UFO enthusiasts are ecstatically joyful over this film. They accept it as gospel truth. For them, it is not a sci-fi film; it is a manifesto of their atheist worldview, the magnum opus of a materialistic, Christ-rejecting society seeking meaning from the occultic dark side.
Christian Discernment
Born-again Christians are fooled by none of this. We know that Satan is the “prince of the power of the air,” that he has come with lies to deceive, if possible, even the very elect. Satan appeared to Eve as a serpent. He can just as easily appear as an angel of light. Demonic fallen angels can shape shift and appear as flying saucers, alien creatures or whatever serves their diabolical purposes. Surveys indicate that approximately 6% of the general population claim to have experienced alien abductions, which are actually a form of demonic possession involving a trance-like state wherein false memories are implanted. Those who experience this come away with “communications” from the supposed aliens – a message that says the Bible is false and Jesus is not God, which begs the question: why would aliens travel lightyears to another planet just to convince people that Jesus was a fake?
A compelling piece of evidence suggesting the true nature of UFO encounters is the reported effectiveness of invoking Jesus’ name during alleged abduction experiences. Numerous accounts from individuals who claim to have undergone repeated abductions indicate that calling upon Jesus immediately halts these encounters. This phenomenon has been documented by researchers such as the CE4 Research Group, who have analyzed over 300 cases where “experiencers” report their abductions permanently ceasing after invoking Christ’s name. Thus we see that while the movie presents the illusion that alien-demons are more powerful than Christ, the reverse is true in real life: demons flee at the name of Jesus.
The truth is, there are no aliens. The vast distances to be traversed in interstellar travel would require lightspeed. But Einstein’s theory of special relativity has proven that accelerating any physical object with mass to the speed of light is an impossibility – not only for humanity but for any entity, regardless of its technological capabilities. This makes travel from even the closest star system a matter of science fiction, not scientific possibility.
I repeat, there are no aliens, but there are demons. The UAPs, or UFOs, seen in the sky are not extra-terrestrial visitors; they are demonic manifestations, the sole purpose of which is to deceive and get mankind to look to them for answers, instead of to God. This is the entire goal of Satan and his demons, to turn mankind away from Jesus. With the help of Hollywood, they are succeeding. As I watched the film it was clear to me that Satan’s fingerprints were all over it and that demons had guided the minds of the writers. Thanks to Spielberg’s new movie, we can expect to see an increase in demonic possession and oppression.
The vast cosmos was created, according to God’s Word, to reflect His glory to mankind. They were not made to be inhabited. One thing is true: we are not alone. Our Heavenly Father watches every detail of life here. Even the hairs of our head are numbered. The Holy Spirit lives in our hearts. There are multitudes of angelic creatures in the unseen realm. There are also a plethora of evil spirits. Be careful who you listen to.
